Nearly 2000 delegates to attend the Azerbaijani Women’s III Congress

Baku. Laura Cabrailli –APA. Azerbaijani Women’s III Congress will take place on September 26 in the Hand Games Palace in Baku. Nearly 2000 delegates will attend the congress, press service of the State Committee for Family, Woman and Child Problems told APA. 28 delegates were invited from Egypt, Kuwait, Georgia, Russia, Turlkey, Lithuania, USA, Jordan and Switzerland to the congress of Azerbaijani women. First Lady of Egypt Susanna Mubarak, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili’s mother Giuli Alasania, Chairwoman of the US-Azerbaijani Society Tomris Azeri and other quests expected to attend the congress. The current situation of women movement in Azerbaijan and tasks laid ahead will be discussed at the one-day congress. The congress delegates will address the President of Azerbaijan and international organizations and adopt final declaration.
