Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Blood donation campaign are being carried out in Teze Pir, Ejderbey, Haji Soltanali mosques and Mir Mohsun Aga sanctuary in connection with the 10th day of the Month of Muharram – Ashura. APA reports that the campaign has been organized by the Caucasian Muslims Office for the children suffering from thalassemia and other diseases. Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh also donated blood in Ejderbey mosque. Allahshukur Pashazadeh said blood donation campaign was a humane action and had been organized to help the people suffering from various diseases.
Along with Sheikh-ul-islam, a number of outstanding persons, parliamentarians, law enforcers also donated blood.
The campaign will last till the end of the day.
