Day of Ashura in Nardaran Village

APA correspondent reports from Nardaran that police posts were set in the entrance of the village and near the Rahima Khanum Mosque where the Ashura rite is held. A group of young people beat themselves with chain. Mullah of Nardaran Village Haji Adil addressed the people gathered in the mosque. He condemned Israelâ€™s military operations in Gaza Strip and said the United States and other countries supported Israel.
Haji Adil called on the world Muslims to support Muslims in Gaza Strip suffered from the Israelâ€™s attack. â€œToday Karbala is Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine. The United States is devil. George Bush repeats Yezidâ€™s actions. Azerbaijanâ€™s government should react to what happensâ€.
The people gathered for a rite chanted â€œDeath to Americaâ€.
The elder villager Haji Ali Huseynov said Palestinian children became martyrs as a result of military operations by Israel: â€œAllah damn Israelâ€.

Haji Ali demanded to release the people, including Nardaran villagers arrested during the protest action before the Israelâ€™s embassy in Baku on January 2. He criticized the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheik-al-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh saying that the Sheikh doesnâ€™t fulfill his obligation.
