Baku. Kamala Guliyeva–APA. “The issue of Abu Bakr mosque’s re-opening will be made clear after the completion of investigation around it”, said Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations Hidayat Orujov, APA reports. He said the most important part of the issue was complete cleaning of the work. Hidayat Orujov said there was no question about ban of Narimanov District Believers Community yet. “There are tens of mosques in Baku and 1750 mosques in Azerbaijan at all, but never the mosque was blasted in the country”. Orujov said the citizens living in nearby areas with the mosque had serious protest against its re-opening. They appealed the State Committee, law-enforcement bodies and the President about this issue. “They wrote that they lost calmness and felt their lives under permanent threat. Appeals of the citizens will be reviewed after the completion of the investigation”.
