Crude jumps back on world market
# 19 February 2007 10:54 (UTC +04:00)
On February 16, crude oil prices for March delivery rebounded $1.41, to $59.39 on Nymex, APA reports.
In London, ICE Brent crude for April ended $US1.35 higher at $58.95 a barrel.
While further slides during the week were sporadically corrected by cold weather in the US which looks like to be in its last leg, the week ended with short covering ahead of the long weekend with Monday being an US holiday on account of President’s day, and on renewed reports of unrest in Nigeria, the world’s sixth biggest exporter of crude oil. /APA/
