PM Asadov meets Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent

Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, who is on a working visit to Tashkent, met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 16, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

A. Asadov conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the President of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude for President Ilham Aliyev’s greetings and asked that his own greetings be conveyed to the Azerbaijani head of state.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful development of Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations based on strategic partnership and alliance.

Prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economy, investment, transport and logistics, energy, humanitarian affairs and other fields were extensively discussed.
