Hakan Fidan: We are pleased with the progress achieved in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia

We are pleased with the progress achieved in the peace and normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, APA's Türkiye bureau reports.

According to him, the steps taken within the framework of the process demonstrate that the peace already established in practice in the region is increasingly being reflected on a practical level.

The minister stressed that a lasting peace agreement would serve as a guarantee of stability in the region.

He also noted that meetings held within the framework of the “3+3” regional cooperation format are of great importance for the countries of the region.
