Azerbaijan’s investment outlook is shaped by three strategic advantages: connectivity, green energy and digital readiness, Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, said at the “Azerbaijan Investment Outlook Forum” held as part of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Annual Meetings in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

“As one of the key hubs of international transport corridors, Azerbaijan has strengthened its role in East-West connectivity, particularly along the Middle Corridor, and serves as a natural gateway for the Central Asian countries located across the Caspian Sea. This process is supported by investments in modern transport, logistics and multimodal infrastructure.

One of the key elements of this agenda is the Zangezur Corridor, a transport route for international peace and prosperity. This project will strengthen connectivity between mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, while also reinforcing our country’s role as a regional logistics and transit hub between Europe and Asia,” he noted.
