Türkiye is ready to do everything possible and provide a platform for dialogue in efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Türkiye is prepared to make every effort to help settle the conflict in Ukraine.
“This also concerns the role of mediator: Türkiye can act as a mediator itself or provide a platform for such mediation,” Fidan said.
He stressed that the current instability and escalation could further intensify the war, and therefore everything possible should be done to bring it to an end.
It should be noted that the Turkish foreign minister arrived in Moscow on a two-day working visit. In addition to Lavrov, meetings with other Russian officials are also planned.
