Global Islamic Economists Program launched within IsDB Annual Meetings

The Global Islamic Economists Program has been launched within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group held in Baku, APA reports.

During the presentation of the program, Director General for Global Practices and Partnerships at the Islamic Development Bank, Issa Faye, said that the initiative was established through cooperation between the Islamic Development Bank's Centre of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur, INCEIF University, and Bank Negara Malaysia.

He noted that the main objective of the global Islamic economy is to accelerate economic development in member countries through integrated Islamic finance and economic mechanisms.

“Within the framework of this partnership, strategic mentorship and practical research opportunities in the field of Islamic economics will be created for mid-career professionals working in the financial sector, central banks, and capital markets,” he said.
