Azerbaijan to increase gas deliveries to Georgia

Georgia has been receiving 1mln cu m of gas a day from Azerbaijan. Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation told APA that the imports will be increased to 1.3mln cu m a day from April.
The Corporation said Georgia paid off the prices of gas imported from Azerbaijan in January, 2007. During this period Georgia received 30mln cu m of natural gas from Azerbaijan at a price of $120 per 1,000 cu m.
In late February-early March, Shah Deniz Field is expected to return on stream. Georgia will receive 250 cu m of gas at a price of $63 per 1,000 cu m. Negotiations on Turkey’s ceding some part of its quota from Shah Deniz gas is ongoing. /APA/
