“Georgia closely cooperates with partner countries on the Middle Corridor," said Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to her, cooperation with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and China should be particularly highlighted in this regard.
“Our partner countries have already achieved very tangible results. Last year, cargo turnover increased by 33%, and we are confident that this year will be another successful one. This is because we will continue very close cooperation with partner countries on the Middle Corridor. Our goal is to make the corridor more competitive and transform it into a primary transport link, not an alternative one, through joint efforts, joint projects and joint initiatives,” Kvrivishvili added.
