Azerbaijan’s GDP grew 46.7%

Gross domestic product – the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan- grew 47.7%, or AZN 524mln (approx. $685mln), year on year, in January, to AZN 1.6bln billion ($2.1bln), the State Statistical Committee told APA.
Per capital GDP jumped 45% to AZN 195.7, or $224.6.
GDP came 75.1% from production, including 66.7% from industry, 6.3% from construction, 2.1% from agriculture, forestry and hunting, and 19.9% from services.
In the service sector, value added was formed 23.6% in transportation, 9.3% in postal and communications services, 29.4% in retail, wholesale, repair services for cars, and household things. 3.4% in hotel and restaurant, 34% in social and other services.
Net tax on products and imports accounted for 5% of GDP. /APA/
