Dutch Formula One driver Max Verstappen clinched victory at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday despite being bumped down in qualifications and starting the race well behind Polesitter Charles Leclerc, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Leclerc finished second, followed by Mercedes' George Russell and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz, who respectively took second and third places.
"We had a great race," Verstappen said after wiinning. "On every compound we were good. Unfortunately, we didn't get a restart at the end but overall we had a really good day."
