US President Donald Trump’s administration is proposing three urgent steps toward de-escalating the Russia-Ukraine war and restoring diplomatic relations with Moscow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Axios, APA reports.
According to him, the steps proposed by the US include halting strikes on energy infrastructure, restoring the operation of the “grain corridor” in the Black Sea and, possibly, holding a trilateral US-Ukraine-Russia meeting in Abu Dhabi.
Zelenskyy said that the proposal to mutually halt strikes on energy infrastructure was put forward by the US and that Ukraine is ready to agree to it.
The Ukrainian President noted that the US is also discussing the possibility of holding a trilateral meeting.
According to him, Abu Dhabi has been proposed as a possible venue for the meeting.
