Two drivers were penalized following the sprint race of the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, APA reports, citing the official Formula 2 website.
Laurens van Hoepen of Trident was deemed at fault for a crash at Turn 2. He received a 10-second time penalty and will start the main race from 17th place.
Meanwhile, Kush Maini (Dams Lukas Oil) was found responsible for a collision with Amaury Cordeel (Rodin Motorsport). He was handed a five-second penalty and will drop three positions, starting the main race from 19th place.
The main race of Formula 2 is scheduled to start today at 11:00.
