The Azerbaijani athlete has achieved a historic victory that will be recorded in the history of our shooting sports, APA reports.

Nigar Nasirova, an Azerbaijani shooter won a bronze medal at the World Shooting Championship held in Cairo, Egypt.

Nigar Nasirova finished third in a 50-meter shooting competition using a 5.6 caliber pistol. The Azerbaijani athlete achieved 539 points in the women's individual competition.

Notably, our last World Championship victory in this sport was in 2002.
