We will inspect the sports facility planned for the next World Championship in fire and rescue sports, said Alexander Chupriyan, President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, at the 26th International Conference of the heads of fire-rescue services of member countries of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers in Baku, APA reports.
The federation head did not rule out the possibility of holding the next World Championship in fire and rescue sports in Azerbaijan, if the existing infrastructure in the country is satisfactory.
“We will inspect the sports facility planned for the next World Championship in fire and rescue sports and next year we will make a final decision on where it will be held,” Chupriyan noted.
