Today marks the 18th anniversary of the founding of the APASport sports agency.
Part of the APA Group LLC, APASport Information Agency was established on the 5th of March, 2007. It is the first sports agency in Azerbaijan to operate in the Azerbaijani language.

In addition to providing fast and comprehensive coverage of Azerbaijani and global sports, APASport conducts exclusive interviews with prominent figures in the sports community, carries out in-depth analyses on various topics, and shares unique sports statistics.
In both 2007 and 2009, the Ministry of Youth and Sports recognized APASport as the country's best sports agency. Over the years, it has received numerous awards from various sports federations for its contributions to event coverage. In 2012, it was named the best sports website by the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association.
