Houston to host 15th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide

The 15th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide will be remembered in Houston, Texas on February 24.
Vice-President of Houston Azerbaijanis Society, Yusif Babanli told APA bureau that the event will be held in Houston public library in order to deliver as much information about the tragedy as possible. Azerbaijani reporters will also give information about the root of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Armenian aggression.
Documentary films “Demolished city� and “Khojaly genocide� will be displayed at the end of the event.
Established in 2006, Houston Azerbaijanis Society with over 100 members is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of friendship between the United States and Azerbaijan through cultural, educational, social and charitable activities in the Houston metropolitan area.
The organization is collaborating with the Azerbaijan Society of America, Azerican-Turkish Association of Houston, Azerbaijan Students Union, Azerbaijan-American California Council and a number of other organizations. /APA/
