“Russia is responsible for inefficiency of the talks over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Armenia acts to the interests of this state. But Azerbaijan’s economic development will make these states give up their intentions,� head of Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh Nizami Bahmanov told journalists, APA reports. He said that Azerbaijan is satisfied with the talks held in the framework of Prague process, but one of the controversial problems is living together.
“Armenians consider issue of Azerbaijanis’ returning to Nagorno Karabakh as a problem. But Azerbaijani President stated that Armenia must withdraw its troops from the occupied territories and return of IDPs to their native places should be ensured. The community supports this policy,� he said.
Bahmanov also said they will meet with Peter Semneby, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus on February 19. /APA/
