"Without active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, it is impossible to implement any transport project in the Caspian region," President Ilham Aliyev said at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA reports.
"Together with Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich, we inaugurated the Children's Creativity Center named after the great son of the Kazakh people, Kurmangazy. I express my deep gratitude to the brotherly people of Kazakhstan for their support in the reconstruction of the liberated territories. Of course, my personal relations with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev are of great importance both for bilateral cooperation and regional partnership. Our agenda is very broad, and we cooperate very closely.
As countries located on the two shores of the Caspian Sea, it is impossible to implement any transport project in the Caspian region without active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. We are pleased that work on creating and expanding infrastructure is being carried out in parallel. I have already spoken about Azerbaijan. I also know that major efforts are underway in Kazakhstan to expand its port infrastructure," the head of state said.
