A total of 12 documents in various fields are expected to be signed as part of the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) being held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to the forum's program, the documents cover investment, construction, renewable energy, industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, banking, digital technologies, and other areas.
A document on cooperation in the field of construction and development will be signed between the Ministry of Economy and ROX Group. The document will be signed by Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov and a representative of ROX Group.
In addition, a document on cooperation on solar and wind energy projects in Azerbaijan is expected to be signed. The document will be signed by Javid Abdullayev, Director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources, and Ta Ngoc Da, a representative of ROX Group.
A document will also be signed on a project for the production of silicon carbide, silicon oxide and silicon using new technology in the Alat Free Economic Zone. The document will be signed by Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority, and Vitali Yevdokimenko, founder of Inovest AFEZCO.
As part of the forum, a document will also be signed on the ABAK-WASSERSTEIN Swiss-Azerbaijani plantation and processing facilities projects. A document on the Aghdam Poultry Project will be signed between the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, AgroDairy and AGROFERT. A document on a veterinary vaccine production project will be signed by Ulvi Mansurov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, and Abdullah Tutak, Director of VETAL HAYVAN SAĞLIĞI ÜRÜNLERİ A.Ş.
A document on the establishment of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility will be signed by Ulvi Mansurov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, and Ondrej Dragun, Chief Financial Officer of Saneca Pharmaceuticals, a.s.
A document on the acquisition of a non-voting stake in Azer-Turk Bank OJSC by the Azerbaijan-Oman Joint Investment Fund will also be signed. A document on strategic cooperation between SOCAR and the Italian Football Federation will also be signed. The document will be signed by SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Italian Football Federation President Giovanni Malago.
A document on cooperation in the promotion of investments between Azerbaijan and Ukraine will be signed between AZPROMO and UkraineInvest.
In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding is expected to be signed between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. The document will be signed by Deputy Minister of Economy Azer Bayramov and Gabriela Popescu, General Manager of Microsoft for Romania, Moldova and CIS countries.
