On August 31, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Son Hailian, Chairman of CCCC (“China Communications Construction Company”) in Tianjin, China, APA reports.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on cooperation issues between Azerbaijan and the company, and it was reported that a favorable investment climate has been created in our country.
They also exchanged views on the development of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor and the participation of this company in the second phase of the Baku International Sea Port.
During the conversation, issues related to the improvement of transport infrastructure, including the construction of metro stations, equipment production, and the complex development of urban transport, were discussed, which are included in the company's areas of activity.
Son Haylian stated that they will present conceptual proposals regarding the cleaning and restoration of lakes on the Absheron Peninsula.
The meeting exchanged views on large-scale projects implemented to further increase the transport and transit potential of Azerbaijan, which has become an important transport hub in the world.
