This includes political, economic, transport and all other spheres. We are very pleased with this and attach great importance to this cooperation. More Chinese companies are now operating in Azerbaijan. Some of them are already implementing major investment projects, while others are participating in various infrastructure projects," the head of state said.
President Ilham Aliyev recalled that during his state visit he held meetings with the heads of China's leading companies.
"I am pleased to note that their activities in Azerbaijan are already producing tangible results. They work with exceptional efficiency, speed and high quality. We have also opened a new area of cooperation. This is cooperation in the defense sector. Azerbaijan has already acquired certain military products from China. Some of them were displayed during the military parade marking the fifth anniversary of our Victory. Others are currently being delivered to our country, while some projects are still under discussion. We are very interested in developing military-technical cooperation."
