President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on the establishment of the Akhar-Bakhar and Ilisu National Parks of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to the Order, the Akhar-Bakhar National Park of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been established on an area of 23,901.99 hectares, as indicated in the land-use plan annexed to the Order, through the allocation of 11,113.46 hectares from the state reserve lands of Samukh District, 7,000.10 hectares from Yevlakh District, and 5,788.43 hectares from Gakh District.
According to the Order, the Ilisu National Park of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been established on an area of 13,966.0 hectares, as indicated in the land-use plan annexed to the decree, through the allocation of 206.74 hectares from the state reserve lands of Zagatala District and 13,759.26 hectares from Gakh District.
The Cabinet of Ministers must resolve the issues arising from this Order.
