Passengers on railway transport will also be fined for traveling without paying the appropriate fare, this is reflected in the amendments to the Administrative Offenses Code, as stipulated by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
Currently, passengers traveling without a ticket on railway transport are fined 30 manat. According to the new law, passengers traveling without paying the appropriate fare will also be fined 30 manat.
Fines for carrying passengers without tickets on railway transport have been doubled. A fine of 80 manat will be imposed for carrying passengers without tickets or without payment of the appropriate fare on railway transport.
