Disability benefits have been increased for individuals who became disabled while defending the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as due to the events of January 20, 1990, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard.
According to the decree, starting from July 1, 2025, when disability occurs due to the defense of the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or in connection with the events of January 20, 1990, the disability benefit will be increased from 270 to 300 manats for persons with 81–100 percent impairment of bodily functions, from 220 to 250 manats for persons with 61–80 percent impairment of bodily functions, and from 150 to 180 manats for persons with 31–60 percent impairment of bodily functions.
