The number of international dual degree programs implemented in the field of higher education in Azerbaijan will be increased to eight, APA reports.
This is reflected in the Presidential Order titled “On additional measures to enhance the international competitiveness of the higher education system of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Order, the number of international dual degree programs in higher education will be increased to eight in line with the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022–2026,” approved by Presidential Order No. 3378 dated July 22, 2022. The implementation of these programs will be ensured until 2030.
The financing of both existing and newly introduced international dual degree programs will be covered by the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the provisions of this Order.
