The law “On Special Enforcement Officers” has been adopted, APA reports.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed the corresponding law in this regard.
According to the law, a special enforcement officer is a natural person who has received a special enforcement officer certificate (hereinafter – certificate) to carry out the enforcement of documents of courts specified in this law and other bodies assigned by law to enforcement officers (hereinafter – enforcement documents).
A special enforcement officer has the status of a compulsory enforcement body and carries out their activities on a professional basis. A special enforcement officer is not considered a representative of state authority.
The activities of a special enforcement officer are not considered entrepreneurial activity.
The legal basis for the activities of a special enforcement officer is constituted by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, international treaties ratified by the Republic of Azerbaijan, this Law, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Enforcement," and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
