"Another characteristic feature of this meeting was that there was no participation of any mediator or third party. This shows that the peace process, initiated by Azerbaijan, is taking place in the form of negotiations conducted entirely on a bilateral basis. For the past two years, negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan have been conducted precisely at this level. Good achievements have been achieved in advancing the peace agenda at this bilateral level," Hikmet Hajiyev noted.
