US journalist Lex Fridman said he plans to travel to Russia, where he would like to interview President Vladimir Putin, APA reports citing TASS.
"I will be traveling to Russia to interview Vladimir Putin," he said on the US comedian and television host Joe Rogan’s podcast. "The mission is to just push for peace, to do my small part in pushing for peace."
Fridman didn’t say whether he had reached an agreement for the interview with the Russian leader.
In early January, Fridman interviewed Vladimir Zelensky.
Last February, Putin gave an interview to American journalist Tucker Carlson. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at the time that by giving the interview Putin achieved his main goal to break through a Western media blockade and be heard.
