Azerbaijani journalists participating in a media tour in Israel familiarized themselves with the activities of Channel 12 (Hadashot 12), one of the country’s leading commercial news channels, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Israel reports.
As part of the media tour, the journalists visited the channel’s main newsroom and the studios where news bulletins are produced.
The media representatives were briefed on the channel’s daily working principles and the stages of news preparation, editing and broadcasting.
The Azerbaijani journalists also familiarized themselves with the studio where the main evening news bulletin, watched by a wide audience in Israel, is produced.
During the visit, the journalists had an opportunity to closely observe Channel 12’s experience in news production, editorial operations and the use of modern television technologies.
At a meeting with the channel’s staff, views were exchanged on the characteristics of Israel’s media system, the day-to-day operations of a large newsroom and the process of rapid news production.
