US President Donald Trump is working to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said in an interview with Breitbart News, APA reports.
According to Waltz, Trump is seeking to “end the largest land war in Europe.” He also stressed that the war began during former US President Joe Biden’s administration.
The diplomat said Trump’s upcoming address to the UN General Assembly would focus on sovereignty, the peace agreements he helped secure over the past year, and other agreements currently under negotiation.
Waltz added that the US president would also address Iran’s nuclear program, artificial intelligence and its regulation by governments.
