Turkic states should further strengthen cooperation in the fields of media and education, increase the exchange of information and experience, and develop common platforms, Burhanettin Duran, Head of the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidential Administration, said in a video address to the participants of the panel session titled “Turkic World Dialogues: Common Future, Common Vision” held in Baku, APA reports.

He said that disinformation, hateful content, and digital manipulation threaten the stability and security of societies.

“For this reason, as Turkic states, we must further strengthen our cooperation in the fields of media and education, increase the exchange of information and experience, develop common platforms, and strengthen professional preparedness, especially for periods of crisis,” Burhanettin Duran noted.

The Turkish official emphasized that it is also of great importance to make the common cultural heritage and civilizational memory more visible and influential in the digital world.

According to him, artificial intelligence and new media technologies are not merely developments to be followed, but areas in which Turkic states should jointly shape the direction.
