Representatives of Russia and the United States will hold a meeting, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Ryabkov stated that a new meeting between the two countries on sensitive issues is planned for the coming weeks.
According to him, the meeting will be held as part of separate bilateral consultations focused on sensitive issues hindering normal interaction between Moscow and Washington.
The deputy minister added that preparations for a new round of trilateral talks involving Russia, the United States and Ukraine are not currently under discussion.
Russia and the United States intensified contacts on the settlement of the Ukraine conflict in early September. US presidential special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held talks in Moscow and Kyiv.
