The monitored newspapers published 35011 reports within a month.
Media most prefers the reports of government agencies. Approximately 90% of 6682 reports about NGOs and public organizations are based on the press releases or statements of these organizations.
Journalists get few reports from parties. They prefer comments and analyses, and sometimes change and publish materials of one another.

Quoting secret sources is rarely recorded in the media. Reyting newspaper most used materials of secrets sources in January. Azadliq, Yeni Musavat newspaper also published materials quoting secret sources.
Behavior Code of Azerbaijani journalists was violated 287 times. The principle of “serving the truth, accuracy and impartiality†was violated most. No fact on plagiarism was recorded during the monitoring.
