Khural newspaper editor-in-chief called to Interior Ministry

Editor-in-chief of Khural newspaper Evez Zeynally was today called to Interior Ministry in connection with the letter he wrote to president Ilham Aliyev about prosecutor general Zakir Garalov. Zeynally told APA that Deputy Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov received him. The editor-in-chief was called to Baku Main Police Office on August 30.
â€œI gave explanation about my appeal to the Presidentâ€™s Office which says that Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fuzuli Alakbarov offered us bribe and it was noted that the case will be investigated.
Today the preliminary court hearing on the suit brought by A.M.A.Y OSC against founder and editor-in-chief of Khural newspaper Evez Zeynally has been postponed since the plaintiff missed the process. The process has been fixed for September 13.
Chief of United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev will also appeal to Narimanov district court for holding accountable editor-in-chief of Khural newspaper Evez Zeynally for slander. The reason is the article written in the latest edition of the newspaper about chief of United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party. Hasanguliyev considers that he was insulted and slandered. /APA/
