Second bridge project connecting East Zangezur and Nakhchivan via Iran reviewed

The project for the second road bridge connecting the East Zangezur region and Nakhchivan through Iran has been reviewed, APA reports citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and co-chair of the State Commission on Economic, Trade, and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, and Farzaneh Sadegh, Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is visiting Azerbaijan, reviewed the project for the second bridge, the Ordubad - Siyahrud road bridge, which will connect Azerbaijan’s East Zangezur Economic Region and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic via Iran, and the potential locations for the bridge.

Proposals regarding the determination of the bridge's coordinates and technical parameters were heard, and it was agreed that discussions in this direction would continue.
