The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision on "Determining the state need that requires the acquisition of land and the identification of the authority acquiring the land," APA reports.
According the decision, for the expansion of the "Girmizi Korpu" and "Samur" state border exit points, optimization of border crossing processes, ensuring rapid passage, as well as more efficient organization of border and customs control with consideration of national and economic security, in the administrative territory of the Qazakh district, 0.49 hectares of state-owned land and 5.53 hectares of land owned by the Shikhli Municipality of Qazakh, in the administrative territory of the Qusar district, 8.27 hectares of state-owned land and 2.752 hectares of land owned by the Samur Municipality of Gusar, totaling 8.76 hectares of state-owned land and 8.282 hectares of land owned by the municipality, the authority designated to acquire these lands for state needs is the State Customs Committee.
The State Customs Committee is tasked with taking preparatory measures for acquiring the land for state needs in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Acquisition of Land for State Needs and must submit its proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers.
