Azerbaijan and Iran delegations have conducted a joint review of projects in the fields of road and energy infrastructure in Zangilan and Nakhchivan, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The delegation led by Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Co-chair of the State Commission for cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the economic, trade and humanitarian fields, along with Farzaneh Sadegh, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian co-chair of the Commission, visited the ongoing construction of the Aghband-Kalaleh bridge over the Araz River near Zangilan. The bridge will connect Azerbaijan’s Eastern Zangezur Economic Region with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic via Iranian territory.
