70% of housing stock privatized in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. 417 100 apartments with total area of 22.8 million sq.m have been privatized in Azerbaijan since the launch of privatization in the country, said the State Statistical Committee.
The figure accounts for 68.8% of the housing stock.
13 000 apartments with total area of 865 200 sq.m were privatized in 2008 alone.
57.8% of these buildings were in Baku.
