The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to fight fires in the mountainous areas of Kalbajar and Lachin districts with complex relief, APA reports, citing the press Service of the Ministry.
According to the information, although the complexity of the relief and the constant blowing wind complicate firefighting operations, firefighting operations are being carried out continuously.
In order to prevent the fire from spreading to a wider area and accelerate extinguishing operations, two helicopters of the Aviation Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been deployed to the area.
In addition, the State Fire Protection and Special Risk Rescue Services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Civil Defense Troops and the forces of the Karabakh Regional Center are participating in firefighting operations.

Helicopters have been deployed to combat the ongoing fire in the mountainous areas of the Kalbajar and Lachin districts, APA’s local correspondent reports.
In order to prevent the fire, which has been continuing in the area for several days, from spreading to the forested mountain zone, two helicopters from the Aviation Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as forces of the State Fire Protection Service and the Special Risky Rescue Service, have been deployed to the area.
Firefighting operations are currently ongoing.
