Azerbaijani police found numerous weapons and ammunition in Khankandi, Kalbajar, Khojaly and Lachin

After the Patriotic War and anti-terrorist measures, the process of detection and neutralization of war remnants and danger sources by the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan is ongoing in order to speed up the Great Return process and ensure security, APA reports citing the Ministry.

According to the information, on June 22-28, with the measures carried out by Azerbaijani police, 26 automatic weapons, 3 machine guns, 1 pistol, 3 rifles, 27 grenades, 2 grenade launchers, 36 lighters, 13 shells, 5 bayonets, 115 cartridge combs, 4780 cartridges of various calibers and other ammunition from territory of Khankandi city; a automatic weapon, 7 cartridge combs, 4780 cartridges of various calibers from the territory of Vangli village of Kalbajar district; 4 automatic weapons, a pistol, a grenade launcher, 12 grenades, 10 lighters, 10 catridge combs, and 278 cartridges of various calibers from the territory of Asgaran settlement of Khojaly district; 2 automatic weapons, a pistol, 1 rifles, 13 grenades, 3 bayonets, 16 cartridge combs and 270 cartridges of various calibers from the territory of Lachin district were found and seized.
