Two Yandex data centers have been damaged as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks, Yandex said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
It was reported that on the night of October 7-8, a data center in Sasovo in the Ryazan region was seriously damaged and its operations were completely halted. On the morning of October 9, another data center in Kaluga was attacked, and part of its infrastructure was put out of operation.
Yandex noted that no employees were injured as a result of the drone attacks.
The company said specialists are working to restore the infrastructure, but that its recovery will require some time.
"Data centers are considered the 'iron heart' of Yandex. Their functionality is essential for services that have become part of people's daily lives," Yandex said in a statement.
