"The European Parliament and the European bureaucracy as a whole are in a deplorable state. The discussions held and documents adopted in this institution are also a manifestation of this. This is no longer of interest to Georgian society," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said while commenting to journalists on the critical resolution adopted by the European Parliament regarding Georgia yesterday, APA's local bureau reports.
He noted that the European Parliament's actions remind him of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
"I believe that even in the 1980s, when the Soviet Union was in the final years of its existence, the Supreme Soviet was in a better state," the head of government added.
