A major oil refinery located in the city of Ukhta in Russia’s Komi Republic was hit by a drone attack, OSINT said, APA reports.
A major fire reportedly broke out in the refinery’s technological area as a result of the attack.
According to the report, the facility, which is part of Russia’s Lukoil company, processes approximately 4.2 million tonnes of oil per year. The refinery is located about 1,750 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
In addition, a fire was reported at an oil depot in Russia’s Belgorod region following an overnight attack.
