The identities of the police officers who were killed in Baku have been unveiled, APA reports.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed the identities and photos of the killed police officers.
Note that on June 24, in Baku, Allahverdiyev Rovshan Ogtay, born in 1986, who has been convicted many times and is currently wanted, did an armed resistance while detained by police officers, APA reports citing the joint information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan. According to the information, in order to hinder the police officers, he tried to evade by putting his family members in front and to prevent retaliation, he fired a shot from Lancaster brand hunting gun by using the created situation and killed 3 police officers and 1 civilian.
R.Allahverdiyev was neutralized by the police officers with the ongoing measures.
A criminal case has been initiated and the investigation is ongoing.
