Trial of Al-Gaida members did not took place

Trial of 15 Al-Gaida members accused of the articles 120.2.3, 120.2, 279.1, 228.3, 315.1 of the Criminal Code in Supreme Court did not took place, accused Arif Hajiyev’s advocate Elman Osmanov told APA.
He said that the court did not announce the reason. The date of trial presided over by Muzeffer Agazade is set for Dec 26.
A gang is composed of Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, Yemenite citizens trained in Pankisi camps, Georgia. They are found guilty in terror acts, carrying arms, and assassination of Nesimi Police Department officer Movlan Alibeyli etc.
Azerbaijani Grievous Crimes Court sentenced gang leader Hajiyev Arif Hesenbeyovich to life-term, hajiverdiyev Emil Adil to 10 years, Hamdan Mohammed Ahmed Salem, Chankayev Gadji Ibrahimovich, Abdulkerimov Abdulla Magomedovich and Aliyev Shirin Sedri to 7 years, Berkov Aslan Hesenovich, Islamov Isa Azrailovich, Abdulhemedov karanay Zaulbasarovich, Gaziyev Arsen Yunusovich, Asedullayev Jembek Junaitovich, Delibashlar Mustafa Ahmed, Inan Emin Ahmed, hayal Selcuk Husnu and Karakash Juma Shikhimam to 5 years in jail.
Gadji Chankayev, extradited to Russia, had been sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in jail by Dagestan Court /APA/
