The work under the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project is nearing completion in Azerbaijan and Turkey, said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Baku hosted the sixth trilateral meeting of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers on Wednesday.
The positions of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia on political issued on the international arena overlap, Mammadyarov said at a press conference following the trilateral meeting.
The minister also touched upon the Baku-Tbilis-Kars project involving the three countries.
“We believe that in the near future the construction of the railway in Turkey will completed, and the line connecting the East with the West will be commissioned,” he added.
